I hate that place. I remember when I played HS football we used to eat there for every away game.

Got sick of it pretty quick

Piccadilly is only good in BR, where the corporate HQ is. Any Piccadilly i've ever eaten at outside of the greater BR area has been pretty awful.

That said, piccadilly is good- CFS,etouffee',all that stuff is good.

And Bistro Byronz is called that because it's decorated like a Parisian Bistro. And their food whoops arse.

my kids (3 and 4 years old) love going to Piccadilly. it's a good place to bring kids that age. it's not somewhere I would go with adults only.

their food is decent. it isn't amazing but for the price it isn't too bad.

I think a good rule of thumb is you bring people there who are either too young or too old to drive and they'll probably like it.

That's about right. My parents like to take my kids there, and the kids love it. Works out well for me, so I don't have to go so much. I get roped in about twice a year, and that's enough for me. The roast beef is usually pretty good.

Never could understand why they called that brown vegetable soup at the front of the line Gumbo...

But the fried catfish is good.

No kidding!

I used to like their tarter sauce. I think it might have been homemade in the early days. Have no idea about that, now. I think the cornbread is good and most of the pies were good. Always liked the crust they used. Some of the veggies were good and they had a vinaigrette dressing that's really good.

Two things that make me laugh at the Pic UR Dilly:

(1) The hair nets. Picadilly hair nets are as entertaining as the ones worn by the cafateria ladies at VC.

(2) Every customer in Lafayette has the same last name. There's "Hey Baaaaby", "Yeah Baaaaby", "Sure Baaaaaby", "Oh Baaaaaby", "Cher Baaaaaby", "you want some Wooooshesire Baaaaby", etc etc

The hairnets are indeed humorous. Now, they make me think of a Saturday Night Live skit with hairnetted women saying "Serve ewe?" real loud in sort of a messy chorus.
