Ghost arrived in NYC today. It wasn't that hard for me to obtain either.

negative....i moved.
on a sidenote we need more beer bets in the fantasy football league by the way. and when the hell is someone taking the reigns on that?
I'll say this to those looking for it. If you are just now trying to find it, stop. It's long gone by now.
If you want to find it, stay in tune with Parish twitter and facebook. They usually tell you when its coming out. Also get to know your beer store locations. Befriend the manager of the liquor section. Those guys are nicce people and will generally go above and beyond to help out customers to draw repeat business. You must also ASK about it. Ghost is likely never going to be put out on a shelf for all to see. The only place I ever saw do this was Mathere's on bluebonnet when i lived in BR. If you just pay attention, make some calls and ask some questions, you can find the beer quite easily.

All good pieces of advice.

Do you have an tips on obtaining rare bourbon ? Besides rigging raffles ?
Posted on 8/18/15 at 2:23 pm to LSUZombie
Tried to get it at Pelican House the 2nd day and she told me they emptied the keg day they got it.
Im convinced the workers just drink all of it at these places.

It's almost that time of year where you baws suck off liquor store owners for the privilege of spending $1999 on a single bottle of booze. I'd say I'm early.

Is it? I kind of feel like the Bourbon buzz is dying down a little.

this
I don't see rare bourbon being as hard to find as rare beer simply because of the price point. For bourbon, it just seems like if you have the money and are willing to pay, you can get it.
Beer is relatively cheap so that it is accessible to a shitton more people.
And Ghost is not a rare beer...AT ALL.

time will tell. it seems to have died down a tad from where it was 2-3 years ago. but that doesnt mean your getting a bottle of stagg for any less than $400 on the secondary market
