it's a good spot, it's definitely out of place on the coast. Chef has a Beard nomination under his belt. Menu constantly changes. It's pricey and if you're into huge portions it isnt the place for you

I went 2-3 weeks ago. I was in OS trying to determine which 'best' restaurant to go to when a foodie couple I started talking to at The Roost highly recommended Vestige. It was awesome to say the least. 5 course prix-fixe for about $95pp. Totally awesome courses which you would expect in really high end haut cuisine places. We were totally blown away this was in Mississippi.

It’s been a while (January or February 2021), but it is fantastic. Highly recommend. You won’t leave disappointed. I can’t wait to go back.

I’m not going to lie…the first two words are the only familiar thing in this description:
quote:

foie gras tartlet, gooseberry jam, anise hyssop, pickled rose petals, bachelor buttons

I mean I know what anise and rose petals are…but WTF was this dish?
