Nope. Had a very bad 24 hours with that mix when I was 15. Couldn't drink lemonade for a whole summer. Somehow, I managed to be able to handle vodka within a few days...

But you didn't use the mint. The anti-toxins in Mint would have "infused" into the alcohol of that cheap $3.95 a 5th Taaka Vodka you were drinking and prevented all that from happening.

And how do I know all this? Been there, done that.

It was bad. Momma took me to the family doc who smiled at me and diagnosed a bad arse stomach bug.

Alcohol poisoning is often mis-diagnosed as a bad arse stomach bug.

Then there's the "12oz flu"

Justin Wilson used to throw mint in dishes at seemingly random times. For example, here's a couple that have mint:

Jambalaya

BBQ Sauce
quote:

The dried mint in this sauce adds an indescribable nuance that has everyone going "Yum"

Justin Wilson's Beans

Seven Steaks Etouffee

He's either a genius or weird.

I'd forgotten that. He sure did. I didn't know what the hell mint was back then, but I sure liked to watch him.
