Dice cukes, salt and drain for half hour or so
Half and half Greek yogurt and dukes mayo
Minced garlic clove or two
Chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper to taste
(Can add mint for a nice fresheness as well)

Really simple and comes out really good. The key is salting and draining the cukes

My wife uses that and it's great. She does full yogurt but hates mayo, rest of the above is spot on.

Use English cucumbers to avoid the seeds.

Removing the liquid from the cucumbers is essential. The post above me is spot on. Salt and drain after removing seeds.

Also, find you want a hit of lemon juice. Just a little squeeze to thin out the yogurt and provide some bright acidity.

Try adding a splash of white vinegar before blending.

I wouldn't blend it, one. And two, I'll stick with a splash of lemon juice because my recipe is perfect.

Mayo gives it a better consistency and flavor than just straight yogurt.
