Dreamland is one of the most overrated bbq places out there. It's definitely not the best in Tuscaloosa, that belongs to Archibald's, and all of their other locations are sub-par at best. Some of the best BBQ places I have ever been would never be on this list because they are straight backwood shacks.

I would say Peg Leg Porker should not be on the list of some that are not on it. They specialize primarily in one meat (pork) and it is damn good. However, Corkscrew has like 4-5 good meats and is overall far superior IMO.

And i go to Peg Leg every time I visit Nashville and really like it

Garden and Gun posts pretty pictures but otherwise their content is shite. My wife gets that magazine every month and I often see articles about topics that should be interesting. And they almost always end up being lame, poorly written and generic. This piece of shite list with Big Bob Gibson and Dreamland (at 3rd overall lmfao) is par for their course.

Dreamland isn't even top 3 in the state.

And, whoever picked some of the pictures for these places, should be shot. A lot look like dog shite.

No Central BBQ, and no Germantown Commissary?

I'd add ZZ Que in Richmond too.

Surprised to see my favorite GA 'que place on the list. #2 Fresh Air

It's great, just surprised it got noticed on a list like that.

Putting Lexington and Dreamland in the top 10 and a place like Hurtado's that low is a joke. Hurtado's ribs blow away anything ever made at Dreamland and I've had both within the last 2 months. What a clown show of a list.

Will have to take your word on it. The food pictured for them looks awful.

One of my more pleasant BBQ experiences was in GA when I was driving from Miami to DC.

Place called Smoking Pig I think? Got 2 pulled pork sandwiches and a banana pudding. I think it was connected to a gas station if i recall in the middle of nowhere

Certainly not the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was pretty damn good and got the job done

Robertson's in Ralph between Tuscaloosa and Eutaw is where we go to get bbq if we're not cooking our own when I'm back in Greene County

Almost all BBQ lists are jokes. BBQ is incredibly subjective and hyper-regional.

I think you could make a top 50 list and put it in alphabetical order so as not to insinuate one joint is better than the others. That list is an absolute joke though. Almost like a troll job.
