...in the last year.

Mine would be:

1.) Iris (Memphis)
2.) FIG (Charleston)
3.) Hugo's (Houston)
4.) Fonda San Miguel (Austin)
5.) SNOB (Charleston), Eclipse di Luna (Atlanta), Indika (Houston)...tie.

Catahoula's would have made the list...RIP.

I went to Micheal May's Lone Eagle Grill in Incline Village, NV last night and it was outstanding.

Slightly North Of Broad has an awesome cheap lunch special everyday that I ate several times when in Charleston.

yep. Kelly English. The menu is very much like august in execution and only a small step down in quality.

yea I saw his restaurant on Food Network a few weeks ago.. I think it was Best Thing I Ever Ate. I want to say it was some kind of Surf & Turf.. looked amazingly good.

McCormick and Schmick’s

It's a chain, but I loved this place. Lots of fresh seafood and more oysters than I could try or ever heard of for that matter. They import different oysters not on the menu daily. Kind of cool.
