I'm having the same issue with the Tyson wings. I got them from Sams and have tried them 3 different ways. The best result I had was with an Asian marinade which included pineapple juice soy sauce ginger and some other shite, then baking them in the oven. I let them marinate for 24 hours. Still nothing to call home about, that's for sure.

this is like the fallacy of the following exchange:

Q: What are three parts of a carburetor?

A: The carburetor, the choke valve and the throttle valve.

You can't use term X to define X.

Do you ever admit when you're wrong?

those are synonyms. I was remarking upon the use of circular logic. i.e. - using the word wing to define the word wing. looks like me and my good friend Mr. Balls got it all cleared up though.

You can call it the wingette or the wing flat or the mid wing, but it's the wing any way you look at it.

Or you can start talking about car parts in an effort to distract others from the fact you gotten in a conversation that's outside of your field of expertise.

Call me a snob, but I don't buy a damn thing from Tyson. It's low quality and they treat their chicken like garbage. Hit up Fresh Market or something similar in your area.

Late to the party, but that's quite a shite show I started.

This thread at least confirms what many of us already know: R2R is a douche who only detracts from any FDB discussion.

Why does every thread have to turn into some shite show like arguing over something as trivial as what to call a fricking chicken wing?

Look, I hate R2R as much as the next guy, but you guys need to chill over this. Clearly just a misunderstanding. And btw, ProjectP, that might be the worst counter argument of ll time. Not even close to the same thing

Just wait until Jones starts attacking your knowledge of the poultry industry. Two arguments in one thread.

I've had good luck with them. I put them in a large mixing bowl marinate them with for a few hours, while tossing them around every 30 minutes or so. After like 3 hours of doing this I throw them on the grill and cook em up. I turn then a lot and constantly baste them with more sauce. They take a long arse time to cook but it's worth it.

You'll likely think I'm a nutbag if I tell you what I personally believe . I just think anything that is that mass produced and processed is usually garbage. I've seen some footage from what are supposedly Tyson's chicken farms and it's nothing short of terrible. Do some research and come to your own conclusion though.
