When is it supposed to open, and I know Zaxby's is one of the buildings going up in front but what's the other one being built, Five Guys maybe?

Following this too. Saw it on Tuesday and wondered the same thing.

Definitely not Izzos.
I hear Rouses' burritos are very very similar.

I bet Izzo's will try to get as close as they can though.
I wonder how bad Rouses is gonna hurt that Albertson's that's close by.

Supposed to be a Five guys, starbucks, and a Zaxby's all right there. Think there might be a few more things to come

Sure would like to see something like a J Alexander's in that area.

Agreed. Definitely a solid chain and would be different for the area, but I think that might a little rural for them?

I could see it still doing OK enough. I doubt I'll be going to Albertsons very much any more after Rouses is open but maybe for a quick stop for Liquor or Wine if I'm coming from the interstate.
I just really don't want that shopping center to decline any more than it already is.

With the Women's Hospital close by, I can see that stretch of Airline becoming less rural as more office buildings and retail start to open.

You not shop at Alexander's? Good people in there...

My wife does sometimes. She's been aggravated with the selection recently though.
I stop at Winn Dixie on the way home from work a lot though.

I stopped at Winn Dixie in Prairieville a few weeks ago for the first time in a very long time. Pleasantly surprised at how good the store now looks on the inside.

They've spruced up all the local Winn Dixies. They're nice looking stores inside now. Too bad the one on Coursey only has a few good employees. Trying to get some deli meat sliced there is almost impossible, and no one is ever manning the customer service area.

Yep. I probably started shopping there a lot more right around the time of their remodel.

Better than my experience at the Wal-Mart across the street. I asked for deli meat to be "shaved" and the lady behind the counter told me it was against law. No kidding. I even asked for clarification. And she repeated it.
Lesson learned, which is why I primarily shop at Alexander's, LeBlanc's and Harvest for my groceries (3 of the most expensive places in town, however quality of employee is considerably better).

I've Googled this before and if you believe the articles it was supposed to be opened last year. Looking forward to a new place to check out.

Think Rouses will be open by August. Zaxby's and Five Guys will open around the same time.
They do want to put a nicer sit down restaurant around there a little bit down the line. But it's a case of holding out for the right partner.
