Now if you don't like bitterness, i understand that. I love IPA's but i have friends that despise them. Yet they'll drink an Envie or Ghost and say "that's actually not bad, not like that other shite".

I agree that many IPAs are unbalanced and hard to drink as a result. If you typically hate IPAs but like Ghost then you should look at other IIPAs / DIPAs. IIPAs with ABV > 7.5% have more residual sugars to balance the bitter. I tend to avoid IPAs with ABV < 6.5% for that reason. An IBU to ABV ratio of 10:1 seems to please.

I love sours, IPAs, stouts, wheats, saisons, porters, lagers, and everything in between. I even like crushing BMC on the course or while tailgating.
