Another new product, instead of embracing their best product ever and bringing back the chilito, aka, chili-cheese burrito

I got screwed at Taco Bell yesterday and didn't realize until I drove off. I ordered the two Chalupas supreme with a medium pepsi combo, replacing the taco with the new habanero stuffed taco thing (they are only $0.10 more than a regular taco)

The combo is $6.79. (with chicken chalupas)
I order and they didn't give me a total at the machine. I hand the card, get the receipt and card back and put it up without looking. I get the food. Doing day end bank work, I see a charge for $10.16.
They charged me $6.38 for two chalupas, $1.00 for the double stuffed taco and $1.79 for the drink. Then since I had the receipt and calculate sales tax and notice it, I see $0.99 charged for sales tax. (6.38+1+1.79=9.17) (9.17x0.1=$0.92). So they just took an extra $.07 of sales tax? Orleans sales tax is 10%, they charged 10.75%. It's like the scam in Office Space. If they do that to every car and only report actual sale that will net a whopping $7.50 every $1000 collected.

It's one of those things that is too small to complain about, even this post was too much of a waste on it. Just I hate being overcharged. Even if it's only two fiddy.

I will be trying one of these. Hopefully is as awesome as the double down was from Kfc
