I've been looking around for a sushi making class and just saw one advertised on Facebook.
Tsunami BR is offering a sushi class for beginners on Saturday August 13th. They advertise sushi making and knife skills. They gave a number to call 225 346 5100.. If anyone's interested.

I've never been to a class, but every once in a while I will go buy all the ingredients, pull up YouTube videos of sushi tutorials, and make a mess of my kitchen. It's always fun! After 2 or 3 mess ups, you start figuring it out

Just called.. The class is $50 and it starts at 11:00 am.

Sushi refers to the seasoned rice, and I could see at least a half hour devoted to the rice alone. Sort of like Vince Lombardi spending an entire day talking about the screen play.
