If I was admin of the Food Board you would banned from ever posting here again. Stella! is a great resturant,is it for everyone? No, but it is the most cutting edge(MiLa is second) restuarant in the state.

What sort of business does that place do?

I've been tempted to go there, but everytime I drive by, it looks empty.

Dude, seriously. I am asking the people of the food board b/c my friend said it was horrible. I am simply asking a question. I never personally said it sucked!

Does your friend frequent places like Chili's, Olive Garden and TGI Friday's? If so I can see where things that are served at Stella! would suck. I would still ban you just for shits and giggles.

I am with glassman.

I have stayed at the Hotel that houses Stella but have never eaten there. It is #1 on my list of places to eat next time i am in NOLA. I tried MILA and it was a wonderful experience except for the older black lady next to us complaining about the cold potato soup puree.

I have eaten there 2 x. First time was good, but super expensive. 2nd time was really bad and super expensive. There are SO many restaurants I would eat at other than Stella.

Both times there were about $200/person with wine and cocktails. Only place I have eaten that has been near this price was Nobu.

Cafe Adelaide, Gautreau's, Emerils Delmonico, Dominica, Brightsen's, Clancy's, Cuvee, Tony's, Bon Ton, Bayonna, Galatoire's - all are better and offer a better value.

Y.A., MiLa is rarely packed, but don't let that turn you away....right behind Stella! and August for best restaurant in town IMO.
