Living in the panhandle of Florida via Baton Rouge, I have never been able to buy my favorite syrup in the Fort Walton Beach area. I know a bunch of you probably could give a rats arse but just in case you are in the area and need to stock up while visiting. I have found a spot that sells it here and they also have many other Louisiana delights such as Tony's, Slap ya mama to name a few. Winn Dixie on Beal Pkwy (about 4 miles off Hwy 98). Just wanted to share.

Steen's is a great option when Norris's isn't available.

Or the fresh cane syrup from the Washington Parish Free Fair. It's pretty much the only justification for that parish to exist.

Tigerdup, why do you ask?
Posted on 6/15/15 at 10:46 am to poochie
because I only know one "poochie" in the oilfield.

I'm in the oilfield but I don't go by Poochie... It's just a name from back home.

Try the pecan pie recipe on the back of the Steens can or jar.

Grew up about 4 blocks from where its made. You instantly recognize the smell.
