So my cousin just bought a rabbit...

obviously Petland USA had atleast one and they were about $40 a pop...

if i woulda known this i woulda sold all the rabbits i was shootin a 5 summers ago when i lived on the grandparents land outside of SA. must have shot at least 2 a day...

I didn't buy the rabbit to cook, my cousin bought it to pet...read the thread next time...

There used to be a place by our house when I was kid where you could get a white duck or a white rabbit to cook. It was not expensive and they are HUGE compared to wild ones.

I have also seen fresh rabbit in Mexican markets.

My husband used to have a large snake which ate rabbits. He bought them for like $5 each from this guy in Walker who mostly raised them for people to eat. Apparently the man also sold them cleaned/dressed for about $8-$10 each.

did he cook them before he fed them to the snake...if so how did he prepare...if not, what does this have to do with me eating my cousin's rabbit?
