I was wondering what might be the best way to cook it while he is gone this weekend?

grandma would try to tenderize them as much as possible by boiling them first, soaking them in milk, or with the tenderizer mallet and then most of the time we would just fry it
it's not that good of a meat, real tough

There used to be a place by our house when I was kid where you could get a white duck or a white rabbit to cook. It was not expensive and they are HUGE compared to wild ones.
I have also seen fresh rabbit in Mexican markets.

My husband used to have a large snake which ate rabbits. He bought them for like $5 each from this guy in Walker who mostly raised them for people to eat. Apparently the man also sold them cleaned/dressed for about $8-$10 each.

did he cook them before he fed them to the snake...if so how did he prepare...if not, what does this have to do with me eating my cousin's rabbit?
