He used to drink it, clearly he liked it at some point. Now he just prefers something better. There's nothing wrong with that.

However, if one of my friends came to a party and turned down the keg of bud light because he prefers (insert craft whatever beer here), that is snobby IMO.

Exactly. Bud light is just a "style" of beer that I find repulsive. Drinking water tastes about the same and is better for you. So I would rather that.

it matters how he turned down the BL IMO

if he did it politely and just "nah, I'm good" then it is not acting snobby

if he said "gross, how do not know how you people drink that swill!", then yeah, that is snobby

Would it be snobby if I showed up at your raging kegger on my crotch rocket with a 6er of my own brews?

Well, when the preceding sentence is ", I definitely won't touch BMC beers anymore, and genuinely feel bad for people who only drink that stuff," I feel like that is implied in this instance.

Or am I just crazy?

I meant I feel bad because they are missing out. Not because they are lesser human beings. Not snobby.

Snobs say they are snobs. I agree. They question me.

Someone explain the logic here.

I was just commenting on that the act of turning down BMC at a party does not have to be snobby

Which one? The one where you act like a douchebag to me about having a keg (god forbid I'm economical when having a party for an LSU game) and make fun of a hobby of mine?

I don't drink BMC beer. Mainly on account of it's a mythical product. I'll drink the shite out of Bud light though. As for food I just eat what I feel like eating.

Bruh, I asked if it would be snobby if I showed up at the kegger (that will most likely be raging) with a 6er of my own brews? Yea, so I may show up on a rocket, whatever.

Same way I feel about my friend who only eats like 5 different things. Just missing out on a lot of good stuff.
