Owner needs to hire hot chicks to serve the sliders and beer.

At least they don't call them imports like Santa Fe did. At least that is what Santa Fe called Sam Adams.

Maybe you're right but I can't imagine that's it. That's a local chain over in CT, I mean it's possible but I doubt they'd jump straight to Louisiana.

I don't know. Not only restaurants but most other retail in that complex have struggled to stick around. Location seems spot on for success.

He is not right. This place is locally owned and operated and has no connection with the chain in CT.

If wants to be successful he needs to really needs to rethink just having the 8 taps. Even if the food is just ok he can set himself apart by serving a great selection of beer to the area.

yeah right now Rotolos has the best tap list... any place that can just have Envie, Nola, Tin Roof, and Abita could be the best tap list

Yep. I don't think it will survive if they stick with the 8 tap setup. To many other options in the area that will be hard to pull regulars away from. But we do need a good beer selection in the area so that could be the determining factor between this being a homerun or a crash and burn in my opinion.

I agree. I think the market is there. I hear he is going to have some craft beer in bottles/cans also. We'll see.

I don't see why a place in Prairieville can't have a Red Zepplin type draft/bottle list... maybe not as many handles but certainly some variety.

I agree, but you know the market much better than I do.

I don't know, they have a ton of people drinking in the area. maybe not trading for whales but drinking Ghost, Envie, etc... even if the new place kept Commotiom, Envie, and then the usual Louisiana products with 1 rotating tap he could set himself apart. the patio isn't bad at that location you just watch cars go by. could surround it with bushes and make it more of a outdoor setting though.

Tim's house in the country club is beautiful. Big time LSU booster as well.

I'm sure they'll make it work. Looks like no website yet, but they have a facebook page.

He has tons of restaurant experience, so that will help.

The location is good. The reason why the other places have failed there was because they served crappy food. If Sliders serves tasty food and has good service along with a few cute worker chicks (it's a sports bar), they should do well. And that's even if they only have 10 or 12 beer selections.

I know a few people headed there for work. Doesn't sound like he's sticking to just 8 taps. Plus, it sounds like he'll have an appropriate looking staff.
