Not a loss, went once, it was a shitfest of wrong entrees, cold entrees, check was someone's, not mine, a bottle of wine we didn't order that they insisted we did. The couple we were with had been once, liked it, brought us, neither of us ever went back.

I had to turn the check over, write on the back what we ordered, priced it myself, paid on that. I've never, ever had to do that, but after two tries I decided I could do better.

Stopped in for a beer once and enjoyed the top of the line craft beer Canebreak and eased on out. Probably not 10 people in the restaurant. They will find some other sucker to go in there.

I went one time with some Abbeville boys and haven't been back since. They said the portions weren't half as big and none of us have ever wen't back.

One time at work, we pulled up the Baton Rouge and Abbeville menus. Many items on the BR menu were listed as smaller portions and prices in general were higher than the Abbeville menu.

Highland Road is not the problem. Ruffino's does incredibly well.

So does Maxwell's Market.

Putting out a shitty product is the issue.

Live 5 min away and never went there, guess that's why they're closing.

Ate at the Abbeville location last year and it was solid.
Had a late weekday lunch with 6 others. The food was fresh, not greasy, tasted fine all around and service was good.
