Balvanie DW alreay at home and some Glenmornagie as well. Going to make a stop at the new Roux or at Bacchus to see what they have tomorrow.

scratch that--looks like Bacchus is closed for "renovations", wonder if they will ever reopen.

I've been scratching the itch for weeks already. Had three foamers of 'Livet around the firepit last night.

Ive got a bottle of Tullamore Dew I was going to drink last week during the game, but was too nervous to actually drink. Not exactly Macallan 15, but it'll get the job done on a snowy Friday evening

No, not exactly a scotch, but it'll still get the job done.

I bought a Highland Park 12 and Oban 14 earlier today, it was time to stock up a bit and those are two of my favorites.

Macallan is a great staple without being too smokey and a touch sweeter. On the same level the balvenie doublewood, aberlour and any distillers edition release of talisker, oban, or cragganmore. I'm a big Islay fan so lagavulin will always be a favorite. Their distillers keeps that salty, iodine, smokey flavor but is aged in Pedro ximenez barrels which is the darkest and sweetest of the sherries. Gives it a honey, raisin, dried fruit flavor atypical of most islay malts. On another note dalwhinnie is nice for something really mild.

Make sure you get a dd or a cab. We stayed a couple hours after so my dad could try some beers (his first trip to cove) and i drank water, but still, driving home was prob a mistake.
