Gourmet meals everyday on real plates. The kids get to spend an hour eating. They don't stand in line, but are served at the table where they pass the food around.
Obesity rates are much lower in France than they are in the U.S.

How do you think that would work in our public schools?

The kids wouldn't be suffering eating the disgusting garbage American school cafeterias put in front of them. It would improve the quality of their lives.
That's how it would work.

That has not been my experience in recent years.
The fact that they stand in line and have 5 minutes to eat is a different story.

everytime these threads get started its proven that these lunches are not the typical lunch for the kids throughout the country
I'm sure you could pick some school lunches in a very wealthy area in the US and the lunches would be of similar standards

Yea, and I bet they love their free health care and not having to duck bullets every day also. I'll take my shite school lunch, over priced 3rd rate health care, and pistol any day. Damn Frenchy's.

They dip their fries in mayo.
I seen'em do that shite. Also, a quarter pounder is called a Royale with cheese.

I hear those dumb French people are taxed like 90% of their income to pay for their free health care. They can't even afford to pay for all of those 5 star restaurants that they are so famous for. They have become soup kitchens for poor little healthy French guys. Sad deal.

This is the situation in Baton Rouge public schools, at least.

We do that too. Go to any McDonalds in the Northwest and watch the plebs dip into "fry sauce", or mayo with a dash of ketchup.
Also, Cane's sauce.

Now you are making things up.
Everyone knows there is no fast food in France. They only eat farm fresh produce and freshly killed meat prepared by acclaimed chefs.
