I asked for a refund because they kept moving the hole on my two foot putt three inches to the right.
And they moved the fairway twenty yards to the left of my duck hook.
And don't get me started on those damn 90 compression balls.

This guy reminds me of a friend I have.
In highschool when we were poor and mischievous, we would try to pull fast ones on people bc we thought it was cool. If he could get a generous friend to pay for something of ours then that would make him feel really good about himself. Well everyone else kinda got over this phase pretty quick except for him. In fact, it's only gotten worse bc he has found new ways to be a cheap arse.
The OP is just one of those people who has convinced himself that being a cheap scam artist is cool, otherwise he wouldn't be on here bragging about it.
My friend also NEVER thought he had a problem and it was all of us that were crazy or idiots, much like the OP acts.

I want to see the letter he wrote to the place.
Im going to assume it was filled with more bitching about the situation rather than applauding them for handling it

Damn 8 pages? Is there some cliff notes?
What is the cheapest bottle of wine there? $40-50 dollars?
Thats a pretty nice comp. Shouldnt be need for a follow up except maybe to just say thanks and let the managment know that the guy that gave you a free bottle is doing a great job.

Maybe the courses had sinkholes. Now, if you find yourself in a sinkhole, I think you're entitled to a partial refund without asking, but otherwise....

This was a hole a couple of years ago at lost key. I did not complain or even mention it to the pro shop. Just the way it is spmetimes.

i just loved the guy trying to argue with the captain when he jumped in the thread .. it was pretty bad .. i have been on a dud deep sea charter trip before .. but it was a helluva boat ride and we drank our asses off .. catching fish would have just been gravy ..

I'm still trying to figure out what's the bigger bitch move, some of the posts he obviously made in that thread, or the fact that he deleted EVERY ONE of them.

Good grief Janky that hole is pretty bad off. What was the story? Too bad you weren't playing with Trebel Hook, he would've gotten the whole round comped for you plus demanded new shoes for his foursome for having to walk through the mud.

Post it up Treble Hook. Let's see what you wrote.

yeah, i agree .. you can obvious see about half of his posts, thanks to a lot of quoting .. and they are bitchy little posts .. but i think running back and deleting all of them and then starting that apology thread is pretty bad .. then, he shows his true contrition by coming over here and starting this piece of shite thread four days later ..

I didn't read the entire thread, but if the deleted posts named the company and Lance, I don't see an issue with deleting them so the negative posts don't come up in a search of the company. Of course, the quotes would come up.

Perhaps. But, shite, the way the thread reads now (and even assuming what the posts of his that are deleted and not directly quoted may have said), the dude couldn't buy better advertising than what he got out of that.

Well, that may be true. Didn't read the entire thread.

if this guy keeps it up, he's going to feel less welcome than Zealot does at Ernest's Restaurant every time he goes out !

After this thread, if I was him, I'd use that gift card at another Ruth's or wherever else it could be used. I'd be worried something would be put in my food!
Posted on 3/19/13 at 10:12 am to Gris Gris
or go sell it on one of those sites where you can sell your gift cards ..

Played that hole when it was like that a couple years back. It was pretty shitty but it was like that for one and a half holes that was about it. The rest of the course was in good shape from what I remember. (tough course ) But man that hole was awful. I think something with their sprinkles on that hole broke or something like that and all the grass got burnt. That could be wrong but I vaguely remember something of that nature.
