onnie Jarreau and Kent Walker are developing the property. The Baton Rouge location will include about 4,000-square-feet and have a West Indies flavor, says Knight, with storm shutters, exposed ceiling and garage doors opening to a large patio

I like the one in Nola. i can see this being super popular given the drinks etc. I'll wait like 2 months for the newness to die down. Going to be a complete cluster frick in there for the begininng.

Legit. Two Dollar Taco Tuesdays are my favorite.

My fav tacos: chili glazed shrimp, seared scallop, jerk chicken, and brisket.

Get the macaroni.

You've gone and done it now. I agree. I like it, but some people really don't like it. The lamb vindaloo taco is my favorite. I'd crush it all night. Now if they'd only step up their beer game.

And the BR location will print money just like the Nola location.

There's nowhere else in the city I'd rather wait an hour and a half for a table.

Quoted for truth. But parking will be a bitch kitty, especially in the early days.

Is it really that busy? I've only been a couple of times, and sat at the bar at non-peak times.

The BR location will almost undoubtedly be packed as well, but it sounds like they will have a nice space.

Yeah. The concept has been in the works of a couple of years, at least.

I'm a big fan of the one on magazine. The conch fritters are my go to app and the Mole or calypso beef tacos are legit. The nachos looked really good and were huge. The drinks are pretty decent, but stay away from the mojitos.
