Greek/kabobs where Uncle O's used to be off of Sherwood. It was a Mexican joint for a very short time after O's as well. From what I understand, it's one of BR's cursed restaurant locations.

That isn't the old Uncle O's spot. It was originally a Pizza Hut, then Taco Boudreaux's, then a boiled seafood joint, then Royal Kabob.

I don't think we are talking about the same building. Uncle O's and Royal Kabob occupied the same building off of Sherwood (the one next to Dairy Queen).

Son of a biscuit eater. I posted about that place last month. It was very, very good. Damnit.

Never even heard of it, or seen a lick of marketing.

Don't ever open a restaurant without 6 months' worth of capital.

I didn't even know that place was open and I drive down Sherwood everyday. Truly an awful concept that had no choice but to fail.

Not sure what they can put there but it's hardly a problem due to the location. There are enough people living around the area and working to support a place that is good.

I thought Uncle O's had a shot but it quickly became overpriced and underwhelming. The mexican place before that was actually okay, but just didn't do anything to stand out from the rest. The crawfish boil place before that wasn't very good. The Pie Works before that was actually solid and I was surprised it moved.

Whoever buys the place next should have a priest perform a blessing on it...or just create good food. People will come for good food. So far no place has delivered that.

You have your places mixed up. The former Taco Boudreaux's is now a burger restaurant.

What was the concept?

Greek/kebabs is sort of general.
