Great news for you guys. Best grocery store in LA IMO.

I saw that headline, and there was a tear in my eye at the verbage.

I havent set foot in walmart in about 6 months, and do not plan to. Theres now a Rouses right by the hospital I work at and one 2 miles from my house.

Hopefully they can come in and take over the BR market and get rid of some of these worthless independents and chains here.

Gee...looking forward to two years from now. Hopefully they'll build next to Dave and Busters.

Happy to see Rouse in the house, but... it still ain't H-E-B. Everything's bigger in Texas, which apparently also includes their advertising budget. Spoiler Alert: HEB Super Bowl commercial

Probably just a regional ad...
Though that still is significant in cost.

Looks like they are a little late to hit their market with Alexanders Market coming to Highland near CCLA.
But still good news.
But still good news.

I've been to Rouses in NOLA when I lived down there, and it was a good store, but people acting as if it's the missing link to the BR supermarket chain are being ridiculous. BR has some pretty good spots as it is with Calvin's, Calandro's, Whole Foods, and Fresh Market.

Calvins-best grocery store in BR. Calandros-bothe stores basically shite. Whole Foods-expensive, but thank God for it. Fresh Market-nothing great.

I love Fresh Market.
They need better in-house bread like Whole Foods.

Well it's a smaller store in general and that's what I like about it.

Yep, overall it beats the hell out of most grocery stores.
