Well if they are they had zero patrons for lunch today. Or at least patrons who drive.

Don't they have a french fry po-boy?

But yeah, that place is mediocre at best.

Rocco's is just alright for me and I find it to be higher than a giraffe's arse in comparison to similar establishments.

it's still open according to their fb page

Early last week they had a sign on the door saying closed indefinitely. I haven't been by lately, so it may be open again.

They make a pretty good roast beef for BR area. A tad pricy, but food is good.

That's really sad if the location on gov street is already closed. Living in this area, I'm definitely pulling for businesses to thrive. Not sure what could work in that location. Parking blows

It's actually pretty terrible. Deli meat and canned gravy. Just go to Acme or Dempsey's if you need to get a roast beef in BR.

Is TRoc a restaurateur or a politician? Because if judging by going into the Drusilla location over the last ten years..I think it should be called Bert's!

Love Rocco's Seafood Muff with fish, shrimp and oyster, but the price vs portions are definitely of BR not Nawlins oft tourist subsidized standards.

I enjoy that location from time to time but Jesus Christ I have to throw away my clothes and take a shower as soon as I walk out. It's like Ffleur De Lis. I was in there a month ago and my truck still smells like old grease.

No kidding, isn't that area supposed to be undergoing some renaissance?

I went one time during my college days. Place was pretty forgettable.

The only thing I remember was the phrase "fraud in the inducement."

I agree with this completely but OP was asking about Roccos. There are far worse options around here than Roccos.

No kidding. I have never been able to figure out how PoBoy Express stays in business. Mushy, soft BR bread, sparse tasteless fillings, not cheap, I'd rather go to a fast food chain.

I like them for the most part, but I don't get roast beef po-boys so I can't judge that side. It is pricey compared to most. Over $30 for a poboy and 1/2 with fries.

I think the location in Zachary was open for around 45 days. I share the same sentiments as most on here with regards to quality compared to price.

I had a buddy who worked at the Zachary location. It didn't last very long, but going head to head with Sammy's 50 yards away was a bad idea.
