Our Mom's on Lee Drive. Their roast beef is almost as good as the Galliano Twist. Almost. It'll satisfy your envie.

Perfect. And close to the house. And thanks for the other recs. I like Jed’s but never had RB there. I rarely crave it. Man, I haven’t been to Rocco’s in 20 years.

Rocco is as good as anyplace on Magazine St. in NOLA, but less chance of getting whacked.

I've never commented on a Roast Beef poboy in BR but I do admit I am a big fan of Rocco's

Jed's is a no for me. It was like a pulled pork sandwich not debris.

I just can’t get the love for Jed’s on this site. It’s just not good. I’ve given it a good 4-5 tries and each time the bread was old and the toppings just murdered.

I haven't eaten at Rocco's in over a decade but one thing I've always heard was that it was overpriced. That said, I just looked at their menu and the prices seem to be pretty fair? I'll have to give them another shot. As far as roast beef, Acme is probably the best I've found in BR.
