A friend is having a bachelorette party at the W hotel (331 poydras) and is looking for a place to eat dinner within walking distance. It'll have to be a place where a $15 entree is possible. Any suggestions?

At the W but looking for a $15 meal. They have complimentary freeze pops in the lobby.
Mothers is right around the corner, but I couldn't get out of there with an oyster poboy for under $16. Good luck.

Lucy's is what I said. They want somewhere "nicer," so I suggested Drago's or Grand Isle, since those are close. They could also get some great fish entrees for $16-18 at Bon Temps, but BT might be an odd place for a bachelorette party.

Where is Bon Temps? I've never heard of that one.

Small plates at Root aren't too high.

Send them to Rambla. The cheap bitches can drink water and order a couple of $7 tapas. The rest will have a more reasonable good time.

Bon Temps is a great Cajun place on 401 Magazine. A lot of politicians and judges love that place for lunch. It's been around for decades. Ate there Thursday, and it was delicious.

That's the Bon Ton Cafe. Sorry, I didn't get that's what you meant.
I don't think that fits their request of entrees for 15 bucks. The only thing close to that amount is fried catfish. Also, if they're there on a weekend, it's not open on Saturday or Sunday.

Send them to the casual restaurant that Arnauds has called Remoloud.
Coops place is good and about that price.
