Not really comparing apples to apples here, but if someone were to ask me if I wanted to grab food at Chik-fil-A or Canes, I'd choose the Jesus Chicken every time.
More variety. Better service. Better food.
And Chik-fil-A sauce gives Cane's sauce a run for its money.

I don't really eat at either place, and really can't tell you the last time I had either.
But I'll say this, both places are models for good customer service from quick service restaurants. They have respectful employees who do their jobs well and make things right if a mistake is made.

CFA spicy chicken is really good.

We have chic fil a's up here but no Canes. Sucks. One of the things I miss about my tenure in South La. For some reason Canes jumped from SC to Virginia without dropping anchor in NC.

They are completely different products. One is chicken tenders with a dipping sauce. The other is a chicken sandwich as well as chicken nuggets. Both have their niche.
Personally, I prefer Chik-fil-a because they are less expensive, have the spicy chicken, and I like their Polynesian sauce, which goes well with the spicy.
Cane's sauce goes better with damn near everything else.

With that being said, I eat more at Cane's than Chic-Fil-A
But more due to the fact that we used to eat at CFA too much and I got a little burned out on it.

Canes never really appealed to me. Chicken tenders and Ore-Ida fries. Whoppie shite. Sounds like a meal for a 5 year old. Frick that. It is a meal for a 5 year old.
