Saw this article on the restaurant today. Has anyone ever tried raclette? Looks pretty good. Watch the embedded video in the article:

Raclette itself and a a pretty strong cheese. Completely different cheese from cold to melted. You can get it at Whole Foods. That and a crusty baguette, and you got yourself a nice evening

That looks pretty awesome. When I was in Rio a few years back for work, we ate a late night meal and they brought out what looked like thick tortilla chips and a bowl full of diced beef fajitas. Then they brought over this mini cheese block with a warmer above and scraped it off right onto the chips, and dumped the meat on top.
Not what the dish is called but it was killer. Super salty though. I presume their cheese melter was some kind of raclette, however at that time I'd never heard of a raclette.

In West France they have raclette as a big dinner. There it doesn't simply refer to the cheese. They have hot plates all along the table and you sort of cook your own meal piece by piece.
