It's actually been a few years since I've eaten there. My wife and I were given a gift certificate that we have to use pretty soon.

I know there have been some changes, but my two obvious questions are a) how's the food and service these days and b) what are they doing particularly well?

Went there a few months back. Service was great and the food was better. Had some redfish as the main. Very very good. For apps we had shrimp and goat cheese crepes which were damn good as well as a blue cheese panne cotta. I was very pleased with it from the last time I had been

Service is great. Bbq'd shrimp and gumbo are my go to's. The wife really likes their scallops

One of my favorites downtown. We used book the upstairs a couple of times a year for a family dinner

Chef Gus went across the street to Tableau and it has gone down a little, but it's still pretty good.
