85/15 ground deer. Salt pepper and garlic. Pan fired is #1 choice, then grillied is #2.

Toast buns. Sliced tomato, Vidalia onion, bread and butter pickles. Sometimes bacon. Provalone cheese.

Inglehoffers stone ground mustard on the heel bun. Then a slice of American cheese to stop the burger juices from soaking through. Add onion slice and pickles. Crown bun gets Dukes mayo mixed with horseraddish and hot sauce.

Ground up a couple ribeyes
Form 1/2 pound patties
Heavy coating of salt pepper and oil
Heat cast iron in oven on 500
Place in cast iron in oven for 10 minutes for medium/medium-rare or 15 for well
Take out and add two slices of American Cheese(its my favorite on a burger)
Onion roll from Mathernes
No toppings

BAM

Less is better. If you can do it fresh ground beef is the way to go. I'll be grinding a couple of roasts(total about 6 lbs)tomorrow morning. Don't handle the meat too much and don't compact the patties. Cook how you like grill or griddle to doneness you like and enjoy.

My recipe is very complex.

Ground beef from grocery store. 80/20, 90/10, whichever. Will add a little butter to the skillet at some point if it's 90/10.

Tony's.

Skillet or grill.

You can make turkey burgers using ground turkey and use the same formula.. Avocado and turkey are a great combination.. A little horse radish mayo, tomato.. good stuff

eta: if you do turkey burgers, try rolling the patty in panko bread crumbs.. put a pat of butter in the skillet and cook on med-lo. The panko give a nice texture and flavor to the burger

I don't think it's very complicated.

Steak Burger:
Chuck.
Raw egg to help stick together.
Spoon a indent in the middle to keep from turning into a baseball.
Dale's, about 10 minutes before grilling.
Hickory smoke.
DON'T (DO NOT) squeeze the grease out until the very end.
Profit?

BBQ Burger:
Same but slather with BBQ sauce before during and after grilling.
I like Joe Horn's BBQ Sauce.

50% ground bacon, 50% ground chuck. Season and grill to medium rare.

Bacon ground into hamburger has to be cooked more than medium rare to give off its flavor - anyway, that is going to just be one grease dripping burger at that mixture. Cook that fat out...

All I do is stick the meat in the microwave and then cover it in ketchup. Just like my steaks

MANBURGERS
Meat
Onions/Bell Pepper/Jalepeno (chopped very small)
Egg or two
Seasoning (Slap ya Mama, Cayenne, garlic powder, lemon pepper, salt)
Worcestershire sauce
Bread crumbs
Pepper jack or any other type of cheese
Mustard

Combine everything but the cheese in a bowl and mix good with hands. Then form a small patty put some cheese in the middle, then make another small patty to place on top and crimp all sides so cheese is not showing and stuffed within the meat. Repeat with rest of meat let sit until ready to throw on grill. (I make the patties big so meat doesn't go as far as usual hamburger cooking but turn out great)
