I had a few dozen raw at Phil's Oyster Bar today. They were excellent. Plump, salty, and very clean.
My oldest son tasted the offerings at Peche yesterday. He said several of their varieties were top notch.
Now is the best time of year to eat oysters and both of these places have some good ones.

We went to the Mr. Eds on St. Charles on Friday. There oysters were really good that day. The Chargrilled were right up there, if not better than Drago's on this day.

Peche has very good oysters, especially the Island Creeks, but be prepared to pay four bucks a pop for them.

Friday, their offerings were Area 3, Camiday Bay, and Champagne Pass. Son said the latter two were outstanding.
