Hoshizaki. American made and supposedly better internal parts, at least based upon the reviews.

Good to know. Mine does cubes and I'm going to need to replace it probably in the not too distant future.

Love those.

Nope, big refrigerator.

Ahhh...I should have realized that.

Really nice. I'd be chomping at the bit to take some time off and sit out there while cooking good stuff.

You should also have access to the island cabs from the pool side. Lotsa wasted useable under counter space

Island bar is made of bricks. I have a hot water heater on the inside of the island that takes up a good amount of space. Refrigerator is also very deep as well.

Very nice set-up! I remember you posting your pictures a while back once it was completed. Certainly gave me some ideas and motivation to get my project started.

I bought mine from Katom.com . Best price I could find. No tax, no delivery charges.

For my shutters cant really see in pic, were from a group in FLA
Alum, powdercoated

Werent cheap, like $250 apiece, but are really cool. Hinged at top, no maintenance

Do you know the name of the company you used? Would be really helpful to me.

I hear yOu. If I had it to do over again I would have gone higher end on a couple things but it's still very nice. mine is not an outdoor kitchen but really two contiguous areas ...one kitchen and dining and one a living room with firepit....all attached to the house. I love your set up. Goes great with the pooll. Looks like high quality constuction.

Feel free to post pictures of your setup in this thread.

When I first started this process, I solicited many ideas from the Outdoor Board. Some ideas were excellent and I ended up incorporating them into my design.

WC, that looks fantastic! I know you are excited. I've followed this thing from the beginning when you posted the plans. The pool is amazing. You are going to spend a lot of time out there starting in a couple weeks.

I have that same fridge in my outdoor kitchen. It was cheap, but it works very well. I opted against an ice machine outside because that thing would have to work hard to keep ice. I have 2 ice machines inside + the one in the freezer so I didn't think I needed another outside. I just wouldn't use it enough to justify that. What is going in that hole between the grills? Wood for the Komado?

Looking really nice. I'll post pics of mine when I'm a little closer. I actually did my entire backyard. I had a pool already, but had it resurfaced. My cabana is attached to the house and is 15' x 40'. Covered the entire backyard in quartzite pavers. Appliances include 2 perlick refrigerators, 36" DCS grill, alfresco versa burner, and a primo oval xl. Now working on getting the hood built over the cooking area. It's been sort of hard to design because it is 10 ft wide. Got the last delivery of wood today... 12x12 cypress columns. They should be installed hopefully Monday.
