F&D board - Heading to Orange Beach in a few weeks, looking to take the wife out one of the nights without kids. Any recommendations on a place to try?

Looks like google says Louisiana Lagniappe, the Cobalt, or Cosmo's (been there before)

TIA

That seafood place on the docks that has an 'upper' and 'lower' restaurant is legit.

i can't remember the name even though we eat there every time we go.

Fishers. For a date night, get reservations upstairs. Great choice

OP, just try like hell to get a place that accepts reservations.
I’ve never eaten at Cobalt but heard good things and I know it has great atmosphere.

Voyagers is nice as well

Fishers or Voyagers are best options. A bit of a drive would also be Jesses on the Bay. It’s about 9 miles down Ft Morgan Rd.

How have I never heard of this place? I’m down that way fairly often and will definitely be checking it out. Thanks.

Opened a couple months ago. Upstairs will need a reservation. Bar downstairs just opened Wednesday through Sunday with cold apps, sandwiches, and oysters. Beautiful restaurant and great sunset views of the bay. We had Dolphins swimming at Sunset our last visit.

Big Fish on canal road is excellent! Triple Tail or Grouper broiled is perfection!

Sunset Cork Room

Edit - it’s permanently closed

Go eat at Live Bait. Then move to their Tiki Bar for drinks and maybe karaoke. And finally head to the Club in the very back for dancing.

Was there last month and had dinner at The Gulf, Louisiana Lagniappe, and Cobalt. Had solid food at all three but Louisiana Lagniappe was definitely our favorite. The Gulf isn’t a typical date night spot but has good food nonetheless.

Louisiana Lagniappe or Big Fish are my two go-to’s there.

great date lunch is taking a drive all the way to fort morgan (almost to the ferry) and stopping at the sassy bass and get 2 dozen navy cove oysters

otis gets them shipped but these will be the best damn oysters you ever had.
