Good, homemade coleslaw. I like to use the Mike Anderson's recipe with seafood.

INGREDIENTS for Dressing

1 tbs. fresh, finely minced garlic
1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
1/3 cup yellow mustard
3 1/2 tbs. sugar
1 tbs. black pepper

Are you asking what sides pair well with oysters? You make it sound like a dinner party where you will be sitting down

Eat whatever sides you want cause the main focus should be on standing around drinking beer and shucking oysters

do you want sides using the oysters? like a few other ways to eat them up in addition to the raw/grilled...

or sides that will best compliment those two?

Great idea, but no one in S Louisiana killed enough ducks to make this happen.

Make a mignonette sauce for the raw.

1/2 cup champagne, white wine or red wine vinegar, tablespoon or so of fresh coarse cracked black pepper, couple tablespoons shallots or onion finely chopped and a pinch of salt.

Drop a bit on a raw oyster and see just how refreshing that it.

And open a good bottle of champagne. It goes well with the oysters AND the beer.
