One thing that sucks about the Rouse's takeover of LeBlancs

They replaced the awesome and addictive Cajun krab salad with some soupy replacement. Granted I'll save money since I bought that stuff weekly, but I'm pretty bummed.
And here I was happy Rouse's was taking over. Careful what you wish for, folks.
Anyone want to share a good recipe for a Cajun crab salad using imitation crabmeat?

Cajun krab salad goes Popeyes spicy level x 3 on my intestines. I thought I was going to die last time I ate that stuff

I know its only week 2 of the "swap"
But the fresh sausage was limited in variety, and the 2 flavors i bought were salty AF
They didn't have my cleaned green beans, sliced canned olives, or chuck eye steak.
Also the store made dips are all gone.

That's a bummer. I was excited for Rouses to move in. But leblancs was pretty tough to beat.

Talk to the Manager. They can get anything, other than what LeBlancs made in store, on the shelve. I did it with a few things in our local store after Rouses took over an old Winn Dixie

All the prepared foods, the baked items etc are much better at LeBlancs. So sad that an underwhelming Rouses took them over and didn't keep the proprietary and superior recipes.

Is it just me or did the meat prices skyrocket? That's really the only reason I made the trip out here instead of going to harvest in dutchtown. Their pork prices seem high as giraffe pussy. Gimme leblancs back.

Drusilla Leblanc's was becoming a top-notch craft beer store. I hope they don't screw that up. Seeing signs of it already and gmkr just made me cringe.

The whole place has a different "feel" about it.
One thing i noticed right away at the p'ville location was the shortage of baggers. With Leblanc's there was always an employee coming over to help the cashier with bagging. That doesn't seem to happen now.

Same at the one on Drusilla. I spoke to a few of the workers after the news was official about the Rouses takeover and none of them were happy about it.
Said they were afraid of losing their jobs because LeBlancs paid them well and Rouses paid minimum wage mostly across the board.
LeBlanc's had Rouses beat on house-made products. A lot of Rouses stuff is either totally bland or overly salted. I've tried a few things this past week and nothing really stood out. Their version of the krab salad sucks and I am still so very mad.
