Headed from BR to Dallas (Grapevine) -- are there any must-eats along the way, or in the area where I'll be?

I've heard from locals that Bodacious in Tyler is the shite.

Take the 2nd Kilgore exit. Right at the end of the exit ramp. That store has always been good. They sell sauce and bean seasoning, too...get some.

Stanley's in Tyler does a great breakfast too!
And if you get about 90 minutes past Dallas, look for Mary's Cafe in Strawn TX. Go for the Chicken Fried Steak.

Correction. It's shite.
For real good BBQ in Tyler, go to Stanley's.

Stanley's is excellent--the vibe there for Tyler, Tx, is outstanding imo.

Jucy's. Longview TX.
You will likely fall asleep after but thank me later.
