I made a lemongrass simple syrup. I wonder if it would go well in an old fashioned? It is lemony so maybe a rye OF.

The Cove was my favorite. Specifically the salted caramel old fashioned with the caramel drizzled on the rim. Wonder when/where that place will open back up.

It's pretty traditional to use orange or lemon. A lot tend to go orange with bourbon and lemon with rye.

Maple syrup and simple syrup are not, however, as interchangeable.

R'Evolution is my favorite in the city. The char the fruit and Woodford makes them their own bourbon "Woodford R'Evolution".

What are you referring to?

The amount of dashes of bitters? Do you put two or three?

Or, the adding of the bitters on top of the sugar cube before breaking the sugar cube down? It isn't that I deliberately get every drop of bitters on the cube, I simply place the sugar cube in the center of the glass and apply the bitters after
