Caught a bit of his show in the car today. A caller asked why Marcello's in Metairie closed. The business was doing well.
He talked to the owner and he said he was given an offer too good to refuse on his lease. Tom indicated it was from Tilman Fertitta's Landry group and that it will be a new concept.
Wonder what that might be.

I don't want to start another TF dump thread but I like Tom despite his arrogance. I've even put a headset on at the FQF and trolled him by asking him who he does not like tomatoes and seafood.

I brought up Drago's and their Shrimp creole, which he hates (the dish) and he did a good job and said he had not tried it and I told him he needed to before completely dismissing seafood and tomatoes. He said he would and we talked about some other restaurants after a few minutes went on my way.

I have once
it was pretty fun and the food was excellent and a good deal
he's not for everyone...but he is well mannered and pleasant enough
