Del Porto or Nuvolari's?

Haven't been to either of them and have a hankering for good Italian this week. Are there any other ones I'm missing?

Nuvolari's is more of a creole Italian place but gets great reviews.
Del Porto is very much authentic Italian and may have a little bit of a strange menu to you if you aren't used to such things, but it is very good.

AKA Impastato's North. I love Sal and Judy's. Tulane, I went to Impastato's on Christmas Eve. It was really good food wise. Service was as expected on such a night pretty spotty. They had three seatings and I was in the last one. So it wasn't an issue for me. The Veal Payton was delicious.

We should go to Impastato's one day. Had I been in town, I would have joined you.

I think that the food at Nuvolari's is terrible. I really enjoyed Bosco's. Will definitely have to hit up Impastato's North on my next Northshore trip.

Never been to Del Porto. Tom F raves about it. A couple people who I know who have gone said it was just OK.

I'm not a fan of Nuvolari's.

Sal and Judy's is awesome.

The only thing I've had at Bosco's is the muff. That is great. From what I've seen at other tables, the food looks great and they have huge portion sizes.

Olive Garden is open at Pinnacle.

I haven't had a chance to get to Del Porto yet, but my parents love it. Nuvolaris is solid, as well as Sal and Judys.

However, I am a HUGE Boscos fan. Pretty damn good food and not too expensive.
