I'm good with sesame seeds on the bread.

I like Domilie's but it's not even close to the best. They do them a bit different over there and for people who don't like mayo it's a good option. It's a popular place to hate on here. Was talking to some random folks who were visitng here over the weekend. They were raving about the place and how they couldn't wait to get over there for a shrimp poboy. I suggested some other places but they were displaced New Orleanians and they knew what they wanted. They obviously don't post here.

Domilese's is ok. It's not my first choice but I like their shrimp with gravy. It's cool tosee how they make them right in front of you.

Update: Went to Parkway. Got there @ 11:45 and they had about a 30 minute line. Had a big outdoor tent to handle seating capacity. Lidenhimier? bread truck outside. And huge bundled stacks of their bread near the kitchen.

Shrimp PoBoy was classic, delicious and probably the standard bearer for all those I've ever had.

This. All you have to do is call ahead and pick it up at the bar. That's what I always did.

If you can find a seat at the bar they take orders there.

Hmm. Some variation should exist.
