So some friends of mine are opening a breakfast/lunch spot in Lafayette on the corner of St. Landry and University where Buns used to be. They're set to open here in the next 2 weeks hopefully. It's a pretty small location but it's right near campus and the menu is looking pretty nice.

They have a Facebook page if any of you are interested in checking it out.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who knows what an egg in a hole is. My fiancé made me feel like I made that up.

I wish they'd make a Cow-a-Bunga, Dude salad. All the ingredients they list, extra lettuce. No bun.

I'd imagine it'll be reasonably priced, they may not have gotten that far when they released the menus, they put those images out a few weeks ago.

I have nothing to back this up as I don't know anyone involved in this restaurant, but I'm sure if you asked them to do this when you ordered, they would accomodate you.

I do the Egg in a Hole thing for my family. Never seen it in a restaurant. We called it a bird's nest.

Don't knock it till you try it, one of the greatest breakfast concoctions ever.

Not trolling... Seriously sounds like the stupidest concoction I've ever heard.. But if you'd like to make me one, sure- I'll eat it

So you say how stupid it is, then admit you would actually eat one?

I've called it egg in a basket. Used to throw a piece of cheese over it sometimes.

Heading there tomorrow to check it out.

I've heard a lot of good things about it so far.
