I don't get the hate for Reasonably Corrupt. I think its a decent change of pace beer.

Agreed, but it's not as if GR has an expansive line of good year-round releases.

Don't hate it at all. Wish it would replace turbodog taps around here because turbodog is bad and it should feel bad.

The other GR flagships are terrible. I'd rather drink Jackomo over them.

3/10

Just because you don't like lager doesn't mean that Southern Drawl and Reasonably Corrupt aren't we ll crafted beers. Personal preference is one thing but to just say it's a bad beer is wrong.

I don't think people hate reasonably corrupt itself, they hate the style.

I agree with this. I don't keep RC on hand on a regular basis but when I drink one I enjoy it.

exactly

I know nothing about running a brewery but I think having a "dark" beer that's easy to drink is a good way to expand peoples horizons

It lacks flavor. Maybe it's because when i see a dark beer i'm expecting coffee/chocolate/roast, etc... But it's just sort of bland. It's dark and their are slight hints, but it's a black lager. I don't understand the point of a black lager in general.

Ditto. I think it's a great beer for pairing with many types of food. A burger with RC is great.

Any clue if Parish plans to ship to Houston within the next year or so? Its odd to me that I see Bayou Teche here as I consider them smaller than Parish.

No. They haven't even reached all the markets in Louisiana yet. That's the focus. Good news coming for some of those markets though.

When small breweries spread out seemingly far it's probably because they're not selling enough in their own market.
