Went to GRD and had the new Envie. Definitely better than the fresh Commotion in a can I had Sunday.

So i've had the pleasure of snagging a 6 pack of the new Envie. Wow. They just turned an average pale ale to an exceptional one.

It literally tastes like ghost, without as much bitterness and aroma. Calling it Baby Ghost is an accurate description.

I'm excited to have this available and in my fridge at all times now.

Now, i know it may be a bold statement, and i'm sure i'll get some flack, as i did when i said i preferred Ghost to Heady Topper, but...I think the new Envie could give Zombie Dust a run for its money.

Did a side by side on Saturday--Zombie dated 10/31. Zombie edged it out but it was damn close. The zombie just had something smoother about it--feel like it hit the APA "nail on the head" a little cleaner than Envie. Envie had a bit more "hop-forward" to it. Again, both highly exception brews and would take them any day of the week.

Of course, this is all just one man's opinion
