A relative who has lost 2 close family members needs a boost, I know she enjoys boiled crabs and I'd like to treat her. Looking for take out, hopefully in SEBR, Livingston or Ascension. Do any of y'all know a good source?

For something like this, I know it's not about the cost, but the price of boiled crabs from a seafood dealer is outrageous from what I've seen the last time I was in a seafood store.

They were priced like this:

Jumbo-------$84 a doz.
Extra Large----$72 a dozen
Large------$65 a dozen
Can't recall the medium/small prices, but remember them being silly priced for what they are.

Oh, and this was in Metairie, not some place in Tennessee.

I was at B and J's seafood in hammond yesterday and what looked like #2s were $26/dozen. Males and females.

Try Tony's on Plank Rd. They had em last time I was there recently.

Got some from B & J's in Hammond last weekend. Fattest I've had in a while and tasted great.
