Last minute trip tomorrow night. Staying in museum district. I got a reservation at The Pass (Pass and Provision), but I would like a more 'normal' good restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I love a tasting menu with adventuresome food, but I'm not sure my DC is into it as much.
Please help.
Please help.

Davis st. at Hermann Park (last time I went was on a Tuesday and wasn't too crowded but the food was good)
Bistro Menil
Dolce Vita
Holley's
Weights and Measures
Reef
All ridiculously good places
ETA: and all are close to where you're staying

Helen Greek Food over in Rice Village
Liberty Kitchen (either River Oaks or Heights) is pretty safe
Coltivare would be nice if it doesn't rain tonight
Reef in Midtown
Oporto Fooding House in Midtown
Cooking Girl
Vinoteca Poscol

Reef would be my choice. Simply hop on the light rail and get off at the McGowen exit. It's a block away.
