Thanks for the ideas! Trust me, living here in central VA is a CHALLENGE to get anything decent to cook at my house. I do not eat at local restaurants, because they are HORRIBLE and everything taste like cardboard.

For boudin, I'd consider ordering it yourself from some of the places down here and ordering whatever you want to keep in your freezer. It'll more likely be freshly made. That's what I would do.

Smoked sausage and boudin. Dry goods are cheap to order online. Refrigerated or freezer stuff, not so much.

The shipping kills the deal unless you are ordering a lot.
