I need about 100 lb. of boudin and it needs to be good! Any suggestions?
I don't have time to go all the way to Lafayette. I can possibly have time to go anywhere within an hour...like Laplace.

I would not rank Manda boudin very high.

Bergeron's in Port Allen. Jerry Lee's on Greenwell Springs Rd. There is a place in Krotz Springs on 190 that is the best I have ever had, bar none. Cant go wrong at either place. If you got to go to lafayette, the Best stop in Scott is the shite.

Gourmet Butcher Block in Gretna / end thread if you are in NOLA.

Jacob's or Bailey's in LaPlace are pretty good.

d'oh! considering finding pork sausage up here is like finding a needle in a haystack, i've grown to like it.

Closest good boudin you will find will be Ronnies in BR. Not much else East of there that has the good stuff. Of course you may try Boucherie but I would bet 100 lbs would be wayy to expensive.

I always buy from the Best Stop...but I don't have time to go that far. That would absolutely be my first choice.

It amazes me how many people love the Best Stop and dont realize that you can get the same stuff in BR at Ronnies! Its the same family!
