Will be in Natchitoches next weekend - anyone has suggestions as to where to get some of those infamous meat pies on a Sunday? Cooked or frozen - all suggestions welcome - TIA...

Lasyone's is closed on Sundays, I believe, but that's where I buy them frozen for take home. If you can access a freezer, but them on Saturday and pack in a very cold ice chest for take home travel.

We passed through a couple Sundays ago. Lasyones was indeed closed.
We had lunch at Magees. Meat pies were not bad, but not great.
I still want to try Laysones.

I've had a lot of meat pies from various places. None compare to Lasyone's. They're different and worlds better than the rest. The crust and texture of the meat are very different. Most of the others are "dryer" in my opinion.
