You should try out the croissant burger at Copeland's.

Yeah, but this is a list of good burger places in BR (at least by someone's standard), so I'd imagine 90%+ would fall into your "good burger" category.

I would estimate 5-10% would be excellent, up to 40% good, and 50% substandard. Why waste calories on things that diners don't really like enough to order again. Maybe you should let the burgers stand as is, ie no bacon, cheese, etc as some places could use bacon and cheese as a crutch to shore up the burger taste. Then again, maybe I'm making it too complicated, at least it wouldn't be like going to BBQ joints that feature dry rub only on ribs vs those that feature various styles of BBQ sauces.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but the Brisket Burger at TJ Ribs is really good. I get it with a side of au jus to dip it in, and use the spicier of the two BBQ sauces they offer.

It's really good.

Never been, but I would imagine they're probably just as terrible as the burgers at Mugshots.

I've never had Mugshots, but Twin Peaks has a pretty solid burger. It won't be in any one's best of lists, but it's above average.

Also, their mac and cheese is delicious.

Went to Curbside tonight...Excellent burger. Just had the basic cheeseburger, no condiments. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to eat it in the A/C...we chose to eat out there at the wroundup, and the heat took away from my experience a tad. Nonetheless, it was a great tasting burger, very juicy, will definitely eat again (and will probably try the praline bacon and/or pork preserves next time).

Walk On's should probably be on that list, i guess. It's probably going to fall under the good or decent burger category.

Two places that aren't on that list because you probably don't think of them as burger places, but both definitely have one of the top 5 burgers in Baton Rouge

Superior Grill
Logan Farms on Sherwood Forest

Me and the Missus went to the Bulldog tonight. That made me realize the burger I eat most frequently is the Tecate there.
